This article explains how to find your computer name

Finding your Computer Name:

1. Click the Windows button in the bottom left corner . Alternatively, you can click the magnifying glass next to the Windows button .

2. Type “About your PC “ Into the dialog box.

3. Click “About your PC”

4. Your Computer's name is displayed about halfway down the screen, under "Device Specifications"

The service tag number will be usually be found on the back of the computer case, but it may be located on the top or side of the system.
