MacOS 10.10 and later:
1.Move your cursor to the top left-hand side of your screen and click on the button shown below.
# Click the Apple in the upper left

2.A drop down menu will appear, click on “About This Mac”
# Click the Apple in the upper left

# Click About this Mac

# Click on the grey text, "Version 10.X" twice. The serial number will be displayed.

3.Your computers name is denoted by the “Serial Number” as shown below.

To find the serial number on your Mac:

1.Move your cursor to the top left-hand side of your screen and click on the button shown below.
