What is Blackboard Ultra?

Blackboard Ultra is a next-generation learning management system (LMS) designed to enhance the online and hybrid learning experience for both students and faculty. It offers a more intuitive, mobile-friendly interface, improved accessibility and collaboration tools, and enhanced assessment and grading capabilities.


The Migration Timeline

The Ultra Course View will change the way Blackboard course's look and feel as well as how they are utilized. It requires extensive training for faculty to get familiar with the new features and functionalities.

  1. Courses with the Ultra Course View.
  2. Original course view will no longer be available for new courses.
  3. Existing courses will not be automatically converted.
