University Skype Search Committee Interviews

William Paterson University has a wide range of multimedia equipment available to facilitate live video conferencing both on and off-campus.

If you are conducting video conference or Skype interviews with potential job applicants, you can request to use our facility in Hobart Hall or by borrowing equipment through Lending Services.

  • The Presentation Training Classroom, Hobart Hall 132A, is available for Search Committee interviews and is staffed by a member of the Instruction and Research Technology group. This room is equipped with a document camera, VHS & DVD player, and a computer with internet access. This equipment is combined with several cameras, microphones, speakers and displays to offer participants a complete interactive video conference experience with locations around the world. Please review and request your reservation for the Presentation Training Classroom (Hobart Hall 132A), through 25Live Event Scheduling. Once scheduled please contact IRT through a Help Desk Ticket, Ticket Type, Skype Interview Request. Please verify that you have requested this room through 25live and use this ticket to verify the availability of our facilities. If possible, please include the following Information Request Sheet as well.
  • WPU Staff and Faculty can borrow a “Skype Kit” from Lending Services, located in the library, by sending a request through Help Desk Ticket, Ticket Type, Equipment Lending, IRT/Media Services Items and selecting Skype Kit.
