To find the serial number on your Mac:
MacOS 10.10 and later:
- Click the Apple in the upper left
- Click About this Mac
- Look for the line reading "serial number"
MacOS 10.9 and earlier:
- Click the Apple in the upper left
- Click About this Mac
- Click on the grey text, "Version 10.X" twice. The serial number will be displayed.
