Software and Security Updates
Periodically Information Technology enforces software and security updates on personal computers. Updates often require that the computer be restarted in to ensure the update is applied fully. A restart prompt is displayed with a default time. The user with the option to defer for a shorter or longer periods but 12 hours is the maximum amount of time allowed. This process ensures that our computer environment is secure for all users.
