Below is the Announcement that was posted notifying the community about the [https://wpconnect.wpunj.edu/announcements/?dist=E&uuid=C1BEE306-9CF4-A6F6-A78793CCFF3BA185| End of LinkedIn Learning Access] as of July 31st 2024.


Lynda.com is a valuable tool for continuous learning and professional development available 24/7 to most full time faculty and staff. Eligible faculty and staff will have Lynda.com listed as a service available through WPConnect.  Students enrolled in certain courses were granted access and received an email invitation informing them of the access.

As part of ongoing efforts to reduce costs, the university has made the decision to discontinue employee and student access to Linkedln Learning as of July 31, 2024. This means that all access to LinkedIn Learning course content, as well as individual prior learning history, will no longer be available after this date.


=What is Lynda.com?=
If you would like to download your learning history from LinkedIn Learning, click on "My Library" on the left navigation bar and then click "Learning History." Beside each course that you’ve completed, you will see a "more" (three dots) option that you can click on which will allow you to choose to download your certificates or add certificates to your Linked In profile.

=Logging into Lynda.com=
For anyone who has connected their Linkedln Learning account to a Linkedln profile: If you regain access to LinkedIn Learning in the future, your learning history will remain tied to you and can be transferred to your future LinkedIn Learning account. Your learning history will not be available for viewing until you receive access to a new Linkedln Learning account.


Faculty and Staff should contact Desyra Highsmith at x2834, or highsmithd@wpunj.edu if they any difficulties.  (Please note if you have previously had a Lynda.com account, you will be prompted to merge your training history into this account during the registration process.)
For anyone who has not connected their LinkedIn Learning account to a Linkedln profile: If you are to regain access to Linkedln Learning in the future, you will be starting new without your prior learning history. If you'd like to save your learning history, please connect your LinkedIn Learning account to a Linkedln profile before July 31, 2024. Than, follow the instructions above to add certificates to your LinkedIn profile.

To Connect LinkedIn Learning to LinkedIn Profile: Log into LinkedIn Learning. Click your photo in the top right corner and select Settings from the dropdown that appears. Below Connect your LinkedIn account to your LinkedIn Learning account provided by your organization, click Connect my account. Log into LinkedIn Learning again.

End of LinkedIn Learning Access: July 31, 2024

As part of ongoing efforts to reduce costs, the university has made the decision to discontinue employee and student access to Linkedln Learning as of July 31, 2024. This means that all access to LinkedIn Learning course content, as well as individual prior learning history, will no longer be available after this date.
